What is covered under the three year extended warranty?

The most expensive components are covered for three full years.  These include the controller, power supply, and case.  The recording drives are not covered under the three year limited warranty.  In addition to a third year of core parts coverage you will also receive free labor during year two of your standard two-year limited warranty.  Simply stated you’re duplicator controller, case and power supply will be covered for three years, your drives are covered for one year, and you’ll receive free labor on any warranty repair during the full three years.

 

How does the program work?

Your standard two-year limited warranty will apply for year 1 and 2 after which you’re three-year limited warranty will kick in.  If you experience problems with any of the covered components during year three we will replace the components at not charge.  First, we’ll try to resolve the problem over the phone, but if that is not possible we will ask you to pack up your duplicator and ship it to us.  After we receive you’ll duplicator we’ll get it working like new and ship it back to you.  There will be no charge for labor since you purchased an extended warranty.

 

Who pays shipping costs?

You are responsible for shipping your duplicator to us in original packaging.  If you do not have original packaging contact us for information on how to ship the product.  We will pay to ship your duplicator back to you after it has been repaired.  We will ship the unit by UPS Ground.  You may request expedited shipping at your expense.

 

What is the benefit over the standard warranty?

Under the standard warranty you are responsible for labor charges in year two.  These charges are waived in year two and three if you purchase an extended warranty.  In addition to that you’re extended warranty provides and additional 12 months of coverage for the most expensive components of you system: the case, power supply and controller.
